Initial consultation with parents is to:
1. Determine the issues with the student's education
2. Determine parent's priorities
3. Determine whether I can be of assistance
I can assist you in several ways including making recommendations to help you work with the school system on your own, or I can accompany you to meetings with the school.
A review of all the student's educational records is vital before I can make written recommendations.
